OUR MISSION
The Vinton County Department of Tourism takes seriously its mission to promote responsible tourism growth as an economic development strategy for Vinton County. We work to encourage local investment in the community that will appeal to the visitor and resident alike. Discovering Vinton County as an attractive destination for visitors seeking an authentic small town and rural Appalachian experience with emphasis on outdoor recreation, unique small businesses and appreciation for cultural heritage is something we will promote for all ages to enjoy.

The Department of Tourism meets the second Tuesday of every month from 12 pm - 2pm unless otherwise noted.
